    Join our dynamic construction team as a Dirt Foreman, where you will lead excavation and earth-moving operations to ensure the successful progression of large-scale infrastructure projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily site activities, supervise skilled labor, and coordinate with project managers to deliver quality results on time and within budget. As a key leader on-site, you will utilize your expertise in construction management and site supervision to drive safety, efficiency, and excellence in every phase of dirt work.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise and coordinate all dirt-related activities on the construction site, including excavation, grading, and backfilling.
    • Lead a team of operators, laborers, and subcontractors to execute earthwork plans accurately and efficiently.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise implementation of project specifications
    • Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations
    • Collaborate with project managers on contract scope, change orders, and resource allocation


    Requirments

    • Ability to complete a pre-employment drug screening.
    • Know how to or learn to run Trimble GPS machinery
    • Proven experience supervising construction sites with a focus on dirt work or earthmoving projects
    • Strong knowledge of construction management practices and safety regulations (OSHA compliance)
    • Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques
    • Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and maintenance; experience with tools
    • Construction site experience involving pipeline projects or large-scale infrastructure is highly desirable.
    • Ability to read technical schematics and use measurement tools such as ohmmeters for electrical components
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in budgeting, scheduling, and quality control
