About this Award

This Award recognises the outstanding dedication and performance of equestrian Official's who display a high level of excellence and contribution to the sport.

This award is ONLY applicable to services and achievements during the period 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026. Prior services and achievements will not be considered in the judging of this category.

Finalists will be contacted directly. 

Applications for nominations close on June 30th, 2026 at 11:59pm (Melbourne, Australia time).

Eligibility

To be eligible to be nominated for this Award the nominee must:

• Be a permanent resident of Victoria 
• Have officiated at state, national and/or international levels
• Have performed duties in the capacity of an Official, i.e. course builder, course designer, judge, steward, etc.
• Have undertaken applicable accreditation recognised by Equestrian Victoria.
• Be paid or unpaid

Selection Criteria

• Level of competition officiated – state, national and/or international
• Contribution to the wider officiating community within their sport, i.e. mentoring, development initiatives, etc.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous training and learning
