Early Years Teacher

West Wimmera Shire Council has a vacancy for an Early Childhood Teacher to join our Early Years team. This role is responsible for the planning and successful delivery of a high-quality kindergarten program that supports the learning, development and wellbeing of children and families within our communities.

The successful candidate will have:

Sound knowledge and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safe Standards.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and colleagues

Applicants must hold approved qualifications for minimum graduate entry as an Early Childhood Teacher and registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching. Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications are required.
