CPC Pickleball Tournament

Player Classification & Organizer’s Discretion
To maintain fair and balanced competition, tournament organizers reserve the right to reclassify or transfer players/teams to a category that better matches their skill level.

The goal of this rule is to ensure fair play, competitive balance, and an enjoyable experience for all participants. Final decisions regarding player classification shall remain under the discretion of the tournament organizers.

Tournament Format & Official Game Rules

Tournament Format

Each category will be divided into 4 brackets/groups:

Bracket A
Bracket B
Bracket C
Bracket D

Each bracket will follow a Round Robin Elimination Format, where all teams within their bracket will play against each other.

The Top 2 teams from each bracket will advance to the Quarterfinals.

Quarterfinal Cross-Over Matches
A1 vs B2
B1 vs A2
C1 vs D2
D1 vs C2

Winners advance to the Semifinals, then Championship Match.

Official Game Rules

Scoring System
All elimination games will be played up to 11 points.
Championship Match will be played up to 15 points.
Sudden Death Rule applies (first team to reach the winning score wins).

Serving Rules
All serves must be made below the waist.
Players only have 10 seconds to serve after the officiating official announces the score.

Line Calls
Players should verbally call the ball “OUT” if it lands outside the court.
Excessive gestures or unsportsmanlike actions are discouraged.
If a call is contested, the officiating official will make the final decision.

Sportsmanship
No profanity, trash talking, or disrespectful behavior.
Celebrations are allowed but should be done discreetly and respectfully.
Respect fellow players, officials, and spectators at all times.

Default Rule
Teams/players who fail to arrive within 10 minutes after their scheduled match time will be automatically declared DEFAULT.

Eligibility
Participants must have joined at least one CPC Open Play prior to registration.

Organizer’s Rights
Tournament organizers reserve the right to modify schedules, rules, and match formats if necessary to ensure smooth tournament operations.

By submitting this registration form, participants confirm that they voluntarily agree to join the CPC Pickleball Tournament and understand the nature of the event. Participants acknowledge that pickleball is a physical sport that may involve risks of injury, accidents, or other unforeseen incidents. The organizers, CPC, Lillian’s Smash & Sip, sponsors, staff, and partners shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or accident that may occur before, during, or after the tournament.

Participants also confirm that they are physically fit to play and agree to follow tournament rules, sportsmanship, and event guidelines. Submission of this form serves as full acknowledgment and acceptance of this waiver and all tournament conditions.
