    We are looking for 3 people to join Big Team from August 2026 - April 2027 to deliver our brand new 'Open Mic Sessions' project.
  •  Big Team Open Mic Sessions Recruitment

    Big Team are hosting a brand new series of Open Mic events across Bristol and Gloucester. Collaborating with The Music Works and Aspiration Creation Elevation, we will be hosting 6 events from October 2026 - March 2027. This will be an opportunity for emerging artists in the region to perform, grow confidence, and build connections. 

    We are looking for 3x roles to manage this project, on a freelance basis, whilst working closely with the core team at Big Team. Please refer to the Job Descriptions linked below:


    - Project Co-ordinator - 1x role

    - Project Assistant - 1x role

    - Marketing Assistant - 1x role

    This project is designed to support Big Team's aim of diversifying the festival and live events industry through paid work and performance opportunities. Therefore, we are prioritising people from Big Team's target demographics, including those from the Global Majority and/or lower socioeconomic backgrounds.

    Dates to consider: 

    • Applications open: Monday 8th June 2026
      Applications close: Friday 3rd July 2026
      Review period for Big Team: 3rd - 13th July 2026 (you will be informed by the 15th July if you have received an interview slot). 
      Interviews: Between Monday 20th - Wednesday 22nd July 2026 (The interviews will be held online or at our office in Bristol, BS2). 
      Selected candidates: Friday 24th July 2026. 
      Onboarding meeting: Week of the 27th July 2026

    Work begins from the 10th August and will be agreed with the selected candidates. 

    For those who are unsuccessful, we won't be able to give individual feedback due to the capacity of our team. We will share some general feedback comments that will be shared with everyone who is unsuccessful in their applications.
