• Lincoln Loon Festival 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament

    This tournament is being run by the Lincoln Recreation Department. Contact the rec office for further details at 794-6548 or text Cody Norris (Rec Director)794-5548. There will be a $30.00 fee per team participating due at the time of registration. Players must also sign a waiver of liability from the department before participating. Tournament will start at 1:30, tournament will consist of a round robin for seeding followed by single elimination games. Please stop by the Rec office before Friday to pay the team fee.
  • RULES

    1. There will be a round robin format to seed teams. 2. Teams may consist of 3 to 5 players ages 14 and up. 3. Games will be played to 11 for round robin. 4. Games will be played to 15 for elimination games; you must win by at least 2 or play to 21 at which point the game is over. 5. Call your own fouls; it is not bad to be honest; if it continues, I will call them and the team is awarded 1 free throw plus the ball. 6. No obscene language; 1 warning per team. The penalty for obscene language after warning is 1 free throw plus the ball. 7. Fights= Disqualification from the tournament.

    I assume full financial responsibility for any medical costs resulting from participation in these programs.  I authorize Lincoln Recreation Department and its coaches, through a physician of their choice, to provide access to any emergency medical care that may become reasonably necessary for my child during the course of participating in this program.The Town shall indemnify and hold harmless the participant from claims, suits or liabilities resulting from negligence of the Town, its officers, agents and employees.  The participant shall indemnify and hold harmless the Town, its officer’s, agents and employees from claims, suits or liabilities resulting from negligence of the participant.  The participant shall hold harmless, indemnify and defend the Town against liabilities, expenses and losses imposed on them as a result of negligent actions or inaction of the participant related to their use or operation of the premises. This obligation to indemnify shall not waive any defense immunity or limitation of liability which may be available to the participant, under the Maine Torts Claims Act pursuant to the provisions of 14 MRSA Section 8101 et seq. or any other privileges or immunities as provided under the law.
