  • ESSAY SUBMISSION FORM: Seeds of Learning® Symposium Graduate Credit

As part of the requirements for earning one graduate course credit through Ashland University, participants will complete a reflective essay connecting Symposium learning to their own professional practice. Due by August 14, 2026.
  • ESSAY PROMPT

In a 5-7 paragraph essay, reflect on your learning experience throughout the Symposium and discuss how your understanding of executive function, learning, and intervention has evolved. Your essay should thoughtfully connect Symposium concepts to your real-world professional setting and future practice.

Please address the following reflection areas within your essay:

    • What shifted in your thinking during the Symposium? Why do you think that idea stood out to you?
    • Describe your work setting and one thing you will do differently when you return to work?
    • What support, systems, or mindset shifts will help you successfully follow through with that change?
    • What does executive-function-informed practice look like in your specific professional setting?
    • What kind of educator or clinician do you hope to become because of what you learned at the Symposium?

Your essay should demonstrate thoughtful reflection, application to practice, and integration of Symposium concepts rather than simply summarizing presentations.
