New this session, all volunteers, whether new or returning, must attend a training session hosted by Wheeling Township. Training dates and times will be shared soon. If you are unable to attend one of the provided options, you will need to coordinate a separate training time directly with Wheeling Township. Volunteers who do not complete the training will unfortunately not be able to participate in Wheeling Township’s Home Delivered Meals program.

A secure link with instructions will be sent separately after you sign up to volunteer. At this point, there is still a chance background checks may not be fully implemented by July, but if they are required, volunteers who do not complete the check will unfortunately not be able to participate in the Wheeling Township Home Delivered Meals program. There is no cost to volunteers for the background check.
