• MCA Guided Field Trip Registration | Fall 2026 🚸

  • MCA Guided Field Trips are a 2-hour experience between 10:15 and 12:15, Tuesdays through Thursdays.

    What to Expect:

The first half of the experience is a discussion-based tour of the exhibitions on view, and the second half is a studio-based workshop. Our educators facilitate conversations about the art on view to give students agency, make meaning together, explore new modes of learning, and prioritize reflection.

Exhibitions on view during Fall 2026:

    • Chicago Works | Mike Cloud: Worldless Obstruction
    • Kenzi Shiokava
    • Slow Dance
    • Rashid Johnson: A Poem for Deep Thinkers
      (opens Nov 7th, 2026)

Before November 17th, guided field trips will focus on Kenzi Shiokava; after November 17th, field trips will focus on Rashid Johnson: A Poem for Deep Thinkers. If you would like to see something else or focus on a particular exhibition, please let us know.
