SMC Healing Halls OFFICIAL Artwork Submission Form

Welcome to the 1st Annual Healing Halls Art Contest hosted by Sherman Medical Center — bringing art into the heart of care. Artists of all ages and experience levels are invited to submit original visual artwork that promotes calm, comfort, healing, and emotional safety within a healthcare environment. All visual art mediums and styles are welcome, including painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, digital art, fiber art, sculpture, and more, provided submissions meet all official contest requirements and presentation standards.Artwork must be appropriate for all ages, professionally presentable, and the original work of the submitting artist. Accepted artwork formats may be vertical, horizontal, or square. Minimum artwork size is 16” x 20”, with a maximum size of 48” on the longest side and a maximum recommended weight of 25 lbs. Artwork must arrive ready to hang with secure wired backing and professional-quality framing or presentation. Canvas, acrylic, or plexiglass coverings are strongly recommended. No sharp or hazardous materials may be used.Content restrictions apply. Artwork may not contain explicit, violent, political, discriminatory, graphic, profane, or otherwise inappropriate imagery. Sherman Medical Center reserves the right to decline any submission deemed unsuitable for a healthcare setting. Artists must own full rights to submitted work, and entries may not infringe upon copyrighted material, trademarks, or licensed characters. Any AI-assisted artwork must disclose significant AI usage within the submission form, in description. By submitting an entry, participants acknowledge and agree that Sherman Medical Center may photograph artwork for promotional purposes and that selected artwork may be displayed throughout the facility as part of the Healing Halls initiative.
