PAWS of Coronado's Animal Mayor Nomination Form
PAWS of Coronado’s Canine Mayor is becoming Animal Mayor, and the race is officially opening to all animals.
The Animal Mayor campaign is a fundraiser for PAWS of Coronado, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and is meant to bring the community together in a fun, friendly, and good-spirited way while celebrating the animals we love.

You may nominate your cat, dog, hamster, pot-bellied pig, or any other animal who lives in Coronado or has been affiliated with PAWS of Coronado through rescue.

This campaign is a chance to spotlight beloved pets, celebrate PAWS animals past and present, and support the lifesaving work of PAWS of Coronado.

Nominations open May 25 through June 8, 2026.
Nomination fee: $50 per animal

Once nominated, candidates may begin campaigning immediately.

The new mayor will be announced on July 3, 2026!
