    Pennsylvania State Police Corporal Timothy J. O'Connor Jr. was tragically killed in the line of duty on March 8, 2026. Of Tim's many hobbies and interests, golf was one.  Tim was a yearly participant in the Annual Irish Open Golf Tournament held at Honey Brook GC in the fall.  On April 7, 2026, a motion was made and the members of the Robert D. Lapp Memorial FOP Lodge 66 voted unanimously to rename the annual golf tournament in Tim's honor.  We are proud to announce that beginning with this year's tournament, the Irish Open will now be renamed the Cpl. Timothy O'Connor Jr Memorial Irish Open.  This year's event will be held on September 14th, 2026, 0900 AM at Honey Brook Golf, Club 1422 Cambridge Rd, Honey Brook, PA 19344. ALL proceeds from this year's tournament will go to the O'Connor family.
