Discovery Ranch Trail Rides is located at 7630 Nixon Road.

While Discovery Equine seeks to serve kids with special needs in our community, Discovery Ranch provides opportunities for all children to experience the fun of horseback riding while enjoying the wonder of nature in this unique location.

Please keep in mind, while we have many beautiful ponies ready to pack your kids up and around the mountain, we have just a limited number of horses. Understandably, there may be some limitation on the number of adults we can host on any scheduled ride.

Please note that our trail rides are all done on lead line unless you are in our regular program and your instructor has signed off on you riding off line. If you are someone that has had previous experience but are not in our regular program or familiar with our horses we ask that you please respect the lead liner assigned to your trail ride as they will be there to ensure you and your horse have a safe fun experience.

Trail rides at Discovery Ranch (7630 Nixon Road) are $72 plus GST. These are for ages 4 and up, no experience required and no age limit. However we do have a max weight limit of 200lbs, and a limited number of horses, so while we may have space available we have a limited number of adult spaces.

Trail rides are paid for at time of booking (this form is not a booking, just a request, someone will be in touch via text to confirm booking and payment). Due to direct costs related to administration and setting aside staff and a pony for the time booked, ranch rides are non-refundable or there will be a $25 fee per rider to reschedule.

You will receive an invoice with a link to provide payment after someone texts you to confirm the booking.
