    • Sunday markets are on as usual in June.  To select the shift(s) you want to volunteer, please check the appropriate box(es).

    • Activities: Join us as we engage with our community, support local vendors and artists, and take care of those in need.

      7:15am-9:00am-Sunday Market Set-Up.  Help set up tents and tables for our weekly outdoor market.  Great for early risers and heavy lifters who want to kick off the day with impact.

      9:30m-1:30pm-Sunday Market Community Shift.  Greet neighbors, play with kids, and and support community events.; perfect for those who love connection and community-building.

      1:30pm-3:00pm-Sunday Market Breakdown.  Help close the market with physical, high-impact work-take down tents, move tables, and wrap up a successful day.

    • June 2nd-Administrative Assistance 
    • Activities: We need two people for administrative assistance(shredding)

    • Older Adult Center Lunch Support 
    • Activities: We need help with lunch service at the Older Adult Center on every weekday (Monday to Friday) this June.  Assist with set-up, serving, and breakdown.

      Requirements:  Ability to follow directions, ability to work independently, and a caring heart that wants to make an impact in your community.

      Training: Guidelines will be provided on the morning of the event.

    • June 9th - Older Adult Center Birthday Party 
    • Activities: Help set-up, serve, and clean-up a celebration lunch.

    • Activities: Assist with room set-up and serving at Gursha & Gathering: An Evening of Ethiopian Food, Coffee and Conversation.

    • June 17th-Riverdale Y Food Pantry  
    • Activities: Distribute over 5,000 lbs of food to those in need and support community food access. 
      Requirements: Ability to lift at least 20 lbs, push, pull, stand and hand food to those in need for prolonged period of time. This is a rain or shine activity; please dress for appropriate weather.
      Training: Guidelines will be provided on the day of the event.

    • OAC Broadway Showcase Performance 
    • Activities: Help set-up tables, chairs, and facilitate pizza party on the back patio in celebration of the Older Adult Center Performance

    • May 13th-AmPark NORC Food Pantry 
    • Activities: Distribute over 5,000 lbs of food to those in need.  
      Requirements: Ability to lift at least 20 lbs, push, pull, stand and hand food to those in need for prolonged period of time. This is a rain or shine activity; please dress for appropriate weather.
      Training: Guidelines will be provided on the day of the event.

    • May 20th-Riverdale Y Food Pantry Delivery  
    • Activities: Distribute pantry bags to homebound clients. 
      Requirements: Must have a car. Ability to lift at least 20 lbs, push, pull, stand and hand food to those in need for prolonged period of time. This is a rain or shine activity; please dress for appropriate weather.

    • Administrative Support Volunteer 
    • Activities: Monthly, Monday or Tuesday, flexible before 3pm, help organize supplies and materials in the administrative wing during business hours.  Light lifting may be required.  Ideal for volunteers who enjoy detailed organizational tasks.  For volunteers 18+

    • Intergenerational Collaboration Sessions 
    • Activities: Ongoing project work with the intergenerational team.  Expect real conversations and hands-on creativity.

    • Making Sandwiches for Older Adults 
    • Help us prepare delicious sandwiches for Older Adults. Work under the kitchen staff supervision to make and bag kosher lunches to go.
