The Sewing & Needle Arts Workshop will be offered to Henry County 4-H members that have just completed 6th grade and older. This is a beginner course where we will learn the basics of hand stitching, mending and using a sewing machine. Participants will leave here with three sewn projects ready to exhibit at the county fair. We will only have 10 spots available for this workshop as we only have 5 sewing machines available at this time.
Registration is free for Henry County 4-Hers. The workshop will start and 9:00 AM, with registration at 8:45 AM and be completed by 3:00PM. Please bring a sack lunch for the day of the workshop. If you have your own sewing kit or sewing machine you'd like to use, please let Emily know. A waiver will need to be filled out and brought in on the day of the event, signed by a legal parent or guardian.
