NewRock Team Rules Acknowledgement

1. Only 12 players are able to dress; non-roster players are required to attend games.
2. If a player misses one practice, he will be suspended for 1 half; 2 practices = 1 game; 3 practices = 2 games. Players are still required to attend games if suspended.
3. If a player is late to practice, he will have to run 2 suicides for every minute he/she is late and he/she will miss game time for every minute late.
4. If a player gets ejected from a game, he/she will be suspended 2 additional games.
5. Every player earns their roster spot every game week.
6. During a game only the team captains can talk to the referees.
7. Game day: players must wear NewRock T-shirt/Polo with khaki pants with a belt (no exception).
8. Game day: players must create a positive atmosphere on the bench and on court (poor body language, poor language, fighting).
9. Game day: all players must check in 90 minutes prior to game time (players will be subject to suspension).
10. If tuition is not paid, the player will not play until payments are current (no exceptions).
11. Players are required to stay and support each team on game day; players may not leave early or come late to any NewRock home game.
12. After each home game all players must stay and help coaches and staff members clean the gym. Team captains on Red/White must organize a clean-up crew for each game.
13. Disrespect toward a coach, player, and/or the NewRock brand is subject to a 5-game suspension.
14. Players who cannot practice because of injury should stay close to the coaches so they don’t miss instruction.
15. Work as hard as you can all the time. Effort is the basic expectation in all we do; it’s the beginning of everything.
16. Listen to the coaches.
17. Always run from one drill to another.
18. Communicate each drill to one another. The coach should call the drill just once.
19. Never sit at practice unless instructed to do so by a coach.
20. Players are required to check the team group chat daily for updates or changes.
21. If a player is caught stealing from a teammate or fighting a teammate, he will be subject to a 3-game suspension or indefinite suspension off the team.
22. Players must call their position coach 2 hours before practice, not text, to inform the coach that he will be late and/or miss practice. If the player can’t reach the position coach, only then may the player call the head coach/AD.
23. Players are required to complete 5 hours of community service per month.
24. If a player misses practice or game without calling his coach, he is subject to 3 or more game suspension.
25. No males in female dorm room and no females in male dorm room.
26. Player must request to leave campus with Coach Ivory only.
27. Players must attend 4 hours of study hall weekly.
28. Players must complete 5 hours of community service.
29. Players must keep a 2.75 GPA or be subject to suspension.
30. Players cannot be late or miss class; he or she will be suspended and/or disciplined.
31. No fighting, no drugs, no soda, and no excuse.

Final disciplinary statement: Any conduct that is detrimental to NewRock Prep as a brand or its coaching staff, player will be suspended at a minimum 5 games or more.
