We are excited to welcome you and your group to Edward Waters University! To ensure that your group makes the most of your experience at Edward Waters, please read carefully before requesting a visit.
Availability: Due to student tour guide and staff availability, we do not offer group tours on Saturday or Sunday. Due to Chapel Hour on our campus, we do not offer tours on Wednesdays between 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Chaperones: We ask that all groups with students please provide one adult chaperone for every 15 students. Campus tours are led by Admissions Ambassadors, and those chaperones visiting with your group are asked to accompany the tour to help your group stay together and organized.
Scheduling Your Group Visit: Please submit your request two weeks prior to your proposed visit day. Your group’s visit will be confirmed by the Office of Admissions via email, and we will provide you with the date, time and arrival location for your group. Group tours arriving more than 30 minutes after their scheduled time may require modification or rescheduling due to campus availability.
Group Visit Eligibility: Group visits are intended for organizations bringing 10 or more students to campus. Smaller parties and individual visitors should register through our individual campus visit registration process. Examples: high schools, TRIO/Upward Bound programs, youth organizations, community groups, churches, and college access programs.
Lunch on Campus: If your group would like to eat lunch on campus as part of their visit experience, please contact Elizabeth Boich at elizabeth.boich@sodexo.com for pricing and menu options.
Conduct: When visiting Edward Waters University, we ask your group to respect our students, faculty, staff and grounds. Failure to do so may result in an early conclusion to the group tour and review of future visit requests.
