  • Overview
    We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver / Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the delivery of goods to various locations, ensuring that items are loaded, unloaded, and delivered safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    This associate may be a helper some days and a driver other day. (what we call a swing) Eventually the associate may convert to full-time Driver.

    Duties

    • Loading and unloading goods from the vehicle.
    • Ensure that all items are secured properly during transport.
    • Help navigate delivery routes and maintain timely schedules.
    • Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients during deliveries.
    • Handle heavy lifting and moving of packages as required.
    • Our products include cartons, lumber, appliances
    • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and warehouse area.
    • Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a driver or driver/helper is preferred.
    • Drivers must present a current valid DOT Card
    • Experience in driving a 26' box truck.
    • Warehouse experience is a plus, particularly in a delivery or logistics setting.
    • Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.
    • Knowledge of route driving.
