Hi! My name is Makayla, and I am the face behind Heels to Mud—a journey that blends sparkle and strength, confidence and grit, and proves you can shine both on stage and in the mud.
I am currently competing in pageantry as I prepare for the national stage this July in Florida, where I will proudly represent my title, my community, and everyone who has supported me along the way. Pageantry has given me a platform to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and make a positive impact, especially for younger girls who are learning to believe in themselves.
But my journey doesn’t stop under the stage lights.
When I’m not in heels, you’ll find me behind the wheel—mud racing. This sport pushes me outside my comfort zone, challenges me mentally and physically, and fuels my passion for determination, resilience, and hard work. My upcoming race season is packed with opportunities to compete, grow, and represent the people who believe in me.
