• WOMAD AOTEAROA 2027
    ARTIST EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

    We are looking for a variety of performances and activities that range from stage and site performances, roving artists, particpatory workshops, visual arts installations, children's and family activities, that reflect the quality, diversity and are synonomous with the ethos and uniqueness of WOMAD.

    Every year we have many artists who want to be a part of WOMAD.  As part of the application process, we need you to supply photos, music, video footage of your work as well as a current tech rider and stage plot.

    APPLICATION TIMELINE

      8 June - 10 August, 2026 - Application period.

    10 August 2026 - Applications close (Nb: may close earlier or later depending on the volume of applications).

    end of September 2024 - Applicants are notified of the outcome, and the contracting period for successful applicants begins.

    12-14 March 2027 - WOMAD Aotearoa Festival.

    Due to the large number of applications we receive, contact will only be made if more information is required.
