Dachshunds & Friends on Parade

Event & Activities Waiver

Josie’s Misfit Ranch (JMR) is pleased to be able to offer all of the wonderful Dachshunds & Friends on Parade (DOP) activities for the 2026 Dachshunds & Friends on Parade event held June 20, 2026, for a cost of $5-$10 per dog per event.

By submitting this registration form online, I give permission for the dogs registered under my name on the corresponding JotForm to participate in Dachshunds on Parade and I assume full responsibility for their well-being.

In case of an emergency or illness affecting a participant, I authorize representatives of Josie’s Misfit Ranch to place my dog under the care of a veterinarian or emergency personnel. I understand I am responsible for any costs of emergency medical attention/treatment.

In consideration of being allowed to participate in the activities of DOP, I agree, acknowledge, appreciate and agree to the following conditions:

I represent that I am the owner or legal guardian of the participant(s) names above, or I have obtained permission from the owner/legal guardian of the participant(s) named above to execute this agreement on their behalf.
I agree that the participant(s) named on the corresponding form and I shall comply with rules and verbal instructions as conditions for participating in DOP. In addition, if I observe any hazard during our participation, I will bring it to the attention of the nearest JMR volunteer or staff.
I am aware of the inherent risks associated with participation in all activities of DOP, including but not limited to: Short Parade, Costume Contest, Races, Pet Tricks, Best Talker, Best Ears, Best Smile, Best Kisser, Best Wiggle Butt, Best Senior, Best Rescue Dog and Best in Special Needs. I acknowledge and assume all risks associated with any and all participation in said activities or use of equipment, and I promise, agree and warrant to release, hold harmless, protect, indemnify, and forever discharge Josie’s Misfit Ranch and all sponsors of the event including but not limited to Ellensburg Pet Lodge, as well as the City of Ellensburg and Ellensburg Downtown Association and all volunteers, vendors and participants of Dachshunds and Friends on Parade and its affiliates, owners, administrators, shareholders, directors, employees, volunteers and agents from any and all causes of action, claims, and demands of any nature for any and all loss, damage, or injuries sustained by Participant(s), Participant(s)’s family members, including children, any other of Participant(s)’s guests and invitees, including children, or their personal property at any time during activities provided by Josie’s Misfit Ranch and Dachshunds and Friends on Parade. I further promise and agree never to institute any claim, suit or action at law against Josie’s Misfit Ranch, Dachshunds and Friends on Parade and its sponsors, or its affiliates, owners, administrators, shareholders, directors, employees, volunteers and agents.

Photo Waiver: I also give permission to Josie’s Misfit Ranch to utilize any photos taken at Dachshunds & Friends on Parade that may include the above listed participants in future marketing materials.
