EVENT LIABILITY RELEASE

Location: Jack Barstow Airport, Midland Michigan

By signing this waiver, I acknowledge that I am entering an active airport environment and participating in or observing aviation and recreational activities that are inherently dangerous.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with aviation activities including, but not limited to, powered paragliding, paramotoring, ultralight aircraft operations, ground vehicle movement, weather conditions, equipment failure, and acts or omissions of others.

I RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND HOLD HARMLESS Wing Thing, Metal Sky High Powered Paragliding School, Jack Barstow Airport, and all affiliated officers, employees, volunteers, pilots, and agents from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from my participation or presence at the event.

I agree to comply with all FAA regulations, airport rules, event safety briefings, and instructions from airport officials or event staff.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Venue shall lie exclusively in Midland County Michigan. Nothing herein waives governmental or sovereign immunity.

Electronic signature constitutes a legally binding agreement.

I understand this is an active public airport and all flying is weather, airport traffic, and event safety dependent.

By checking here, you are consenting to the use of your electronic signature in lieu of an original signature on paper. You have the right to request that you sign a paper copy instead. By checking here, you are waiving that right. After consent, you may, upon written request to us, obtain a paper copy of an electronic record. No fee will be charged for such copy and no special hardware or software is required to view it. Your agreement to use an electronic signature with us for any documents will continue until such time as you notify us in writing that you no longer wish to use an electronic signature. There is no penalty for withdrawing your consent. You should always make sure that we have a current email address in order to contact you regarding any changes, if necessary.
