• Pre-tattoo information

    Please sign & date this ASAP after reading our informed medical consent form so we know you have read & understood our process & what needs to happen before your appointment - This is to avoid last minute issues resulting in cancellations, reschedules & loss of booking fee.  If you have any medical issues highlighted on this form this could mean your are unable to be tattooed - If you have any questions or your medical issue isn’t on this form, please call 01322 837002 or email info@kenttattoos.co.uk
  • The price you've been quoted & agreed upon is for the design requested and the subsequent prep and tattoo time. Your design is prepared before arrival, new designs may require a reschedule with a new booking fee, please contact us as soon as possible if you would like to make large changes. Small changes are possible on the day. Please be aware that a half day or day session price is not necessarily the total quote for your tattoo. You may require multiple sessions. Please make sure you have sent the relevant reference images via enquiry form, or to our email address.

  • If you are 25 or under, you will need valid photo ID to bring to your appointment.

    Drivers License, Passport or Citizenship card.
  • Booking fees are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule your appointment within 7 days, or cancel, you will need to pay another fee to rebook. If you have booked a tattoo within less than 7 days of your booking you forfeit your 7 day rescheduling period. Please call 01322 837002 - Working hours are Tues-Sat 10-4:30.

    Our artists are self employed & represent themselves as sole traders. Their admin & pre-tattoo prep is included in the booking fee cost, if their appointments are cancelled or rescheduled they are operating at a loss for that day. If your artist is unable to make your appointment, you will be offered an alternative date or a refund.

    Acacia Hall is the closest car park and a left turn just before you reach the shop on the one way system.
  • Travelling by public transport: Train

    Dartford Station is the nearest railway station to Kent Tattoos. It is served by Southeastern trains, and you can find frequent services from various locations, including London Bridge, Charing Cross, and Waterloo East. Once you arrive at Dartford Station, head northwest on Station Approach and turn left onto High Street. Kent Tattoos will be on your right.
  • Travelling by public transport: Bus

    Dartford is well-connected by bus services, operated by companies such as Arriva and Stagecoach. Check the local bus timetables and routes to find the most convenient option for your journey. The closest bus stops to Kent Tattoos are typically located within walking distance on or near High Street.
  • We accept card or cash to settle the balance of your tattoo.

    We do not accept AMEX or international cards at this time.
  • Please make sure you send us all the relevant reference imagery for your tattoo design

  • Please come alone to your appointment.

    Let us know if you require additional support.
  • We do not allow under 18's in the tattooing area.

  • Please arrive on time (not early) to reduce the amount of time spent in our waiting room.

    If you are more than 30 minutes late for your appointment you will need to book for another time and pay a new fee.
  • If you are using Accutane medicine you will need to wait 6 months to a year after stopping to get tattooed. This is due to increased risk and healing issues.

  • Please do not use numbing cream, this can make an area much harder to tattoo and can also affect the quality of your healed tattoo.

  • Moles & scars

    We cannot tattoo over moles & some scarring, please check the area to be tattooed before booking. If you are unsure please contact us to see if we can tattoo this area. 
  • IMPORTANT:

    • Please shower with antibacterial soap before your appointment.
    • Moisturise the area to be tattooed for the week before your tattoo.
    • Eat two hours before your appointment and bring sweets/sugary drinks with you.
    • Please do not drink heavily the evening before your tattoo.
    • Please make sure you are dressed comfortably and so we can easily reach the area to be tattooed. (shorts, crop tops etc)
    • Please refrain from using fake tan one week prior to your appointment. 
    • please do not go sunbathing or on a sunbed two days before your appointment. If you have sunburn we cannot tattoo you.
    • We cannot tattoo you if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
    • Tell us if you are planning a holiday in the two weeks after your tattoo.
    • Please do not organise an event straight after your tattoo, we cannot control how long your appointment will be, sometimes we run over.
    • Hands and feet are a different texture skin to the rest of your body, this area will often require more than one touch-up and never heals as clean as other tattoos, your first touch-up will be free, any after this will be charged our minimum price.
    • Every tattoo comes with a free touch-up (within 3 months of original work) anything after the 3 months will be charged our minimum price.
  • We have Butterluxe balm and soap available for tattoo healing for £6 each, or £16 for a 50ml tub. We accept card payments.

  • I hereby declare that I am of legal age and I am competent to sign to say I will follow these pre-tattoo instructions. I also understand that each tattooer that operates from the Kent Tattoos premises represents themselves only as an individual sole traders & is self employed.
