By signing below, I acknowledge and agree that:
- Club Toucan childcare is designed as a group care setting with reasonable supervision and age-appropriate activities.
- I understand that crafting activities may involve materials such as paint, glue, scissors, fibers, sensory materials, and small objects.
- I confirm that my child is able to participate safely within a group environment appropriate for their age and developmental level.
- If my child requires individualized support, behavioral intervention, medical monitoring, or accommodations beyond what can reasonably be provided in a group setting, I may be asked to remain onsite or arrange alternative care.
Club Toucan reserves the right to discontinue childcare participation if a child’s behavior repeatedly compromises safety, staffing capacity, or the experience of other children.
Illness & Wellness Policy
To help protect all children and staff, children may not attend childcare if they:
- Have a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or other contagious symptoms
- Have a known contagious illness
- Are unable to comfortably participate in group activities
- If a child becomes ill during participation, parents/guardians may be contacted for immediate pickup.
Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
I understand that participation in childcare activities involves inherent risks, including minor injuries such as bumps, falls, cuts, allergic reactions, or other accidental injuries that may occur during normal play and crafting activities.
I voluntarily assume these risks on behalf of my child and release and hold harmless Club Toucan and its owners, employees, contractors, and staff from liability for injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation.
In the event of an emergency, I authorize Club Toucan staff to seek emergency medical care for my child if I cannot be reached immediately. I understand that I am financially responsible for any resulting medical care.
