    About us:

Astraea Bridal is a woman-owned, bridal boutique based in the heart of Skagit Valley. Founded in 2019 by Laura Dichesare and Leslee Hughes, Astraea was created to challenge the traditional bridal industry by offering something radically different: luxury, sustainability, and full-spectrum inclusivity all while delivering an empowering experience.

We are feminists and unapologetic advocates for women and marginalized voices. We make every person who walks through our doors feel seen, celebrated, and supported—no matter their size, budget, gender identity, background, or personal style. We serve LGBTQ+ clients with pride, and we champion body positivity in every fitting, every gown, every mirror moment.

Our shop blends boutique-level service with eco-conscious values. With over 500 gowns in near-new condition, we’re reshaping what bridal looks like—accessible, sustainable, and fiercely inclusive. We use upcycled fixtures, zero single use plastic, and plant a tree through the National Forest Foundation for every gown sold.

Clients often describe their experience with us as “healing,” “refreshing,” and “like shopping with your most supportive friends.”  We are proud to stand apart not just in what we sell, but in what we stand for—equity, empowerment, and joy.

    Overview:

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized individual to join our team as a Bridal Boutique Attendant. This is a great opportunity to work in a beautiful, fast-paced bridal environment and gain hands-on experience in retail operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Boutique Presentation & Shop Maintenance:
This role is primarily responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation of Astraea Bridal. The boutique should always feel clean and guest-ready. You will be expected to proactively assess the space throughout your shift, identify what needs attention, and take initiative to complete tasks.

    • Go-Backs & Inventory Maintenance:
Support stylists by promptly returning merchandise (go-backs) to its correct location on the sales floor. Ensure gowns are returned carefully, correctly hung, and presented in alignment with boutique standards.

    • Floor Organization & Visual Standards:
Maintain consistently organized racks by price, size, color, and style. Rehang garments as needed, straighten styling details, and ensure every section of the boutique reflects a polished, elevated shopping experience.

    • General Housekeeping & Detail Care:
Maintain a spotless shop and fitting room environment at all times. Responsibilities include sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping mirrors and surfaces, cleaning and restocking the restroom, fluffing seating areas, and resetting spaces after appointments.

    Room to Grow:

At Astraea Bridal, we believe in investing in our team and recognizing growth, dedication, and skill development. This role offers a clear pathway for advancement through structured training levels focused on customer experience, bridal knowledge, and operational excellence.

As team members complete training milestones and demonstrate proficiency, they will have the opportunity to move through growth levels that come with pay increases, expanded responsibilities, and additional perks. Advancement is based on performance, consistency, and mastery of key skills. We are committed to creating a supportive environment where hard work is recognized, and growth is both encouraged and rewarded.

    Qualifications:

Must be welcoming and respectful to all individuals, regardless of background, body type, gender identity, race, religion, or personal style. We serve a diverse clientele and are committed to creating a safe, affirming environment for everyone. Team members should be comfortable assisting customers from all walks of life with kindness, empathy, and professionalism.
