DESCRIPTION OF CLASSES
CHILDREN
The ABC of Salvation (age 5-11): Through stories, adventure, activities, and skits, this course will present the plan of salvation in a clear, concrete way for our children. They will learn the ABCs of Salvation. Each child will walk away knowing not only what it means to be saved but also how to share Christ’s gospel with others.
Bible Skills and Drills (age 12-16): A fun and engaging class designed to help young children learn the basics of the Bible. Through interactive activities, games, and repetition, children will learn how to find books of the Bible, memorize key scriptures, and understand important Bible facts. The class helps build confidence in using the Bible while encouraging a love for God’s Word at an early age.
YOUNG ADULTS
Faith That Makes Sense (Pastor Joseph Pipes): A real, honest, and relevant journey into the Christian faith for young adults seeking clarity in today’s world. This course helps bridge the gap between biblical truth and real-life struggles by creating space for thoughtful conversation and deeper understanding. Participants will explore topics like the supremacy of Christ, sexual ethics, identity, and human suffering — discovering how the gospel speaks with truth, hope, and purpose to everyday life.
ADULTS
Monday Morning Christian (Pastor McBride): Students will engage in dialogue and lessons to teach how to be effective disciples and followers of Jesus Christ. The course will motivate students to fully live out their convictions beyond the Sunday worship experience, to execute the Great Commission, and to participate in the overall mission of the church.
Ministering to End of Life (Pastor Dr. Crenshaw): This course provides biblical and practical guidance for walking with individuals and families through grief, loss, and bereavement. Participants will learn how to offer compassionate care, spiritual encouragement, and Christ-centered support during life’s most difficult moments. Special attention will be given to end-of-life ministry, preparing families for loss, and helping others navigate the spiritual, emotional, and financial effects of grief. This course will equip believers to serve with wisdom, sensitivity, grace, and the unshakable hope found in Christ.
Biblical Manhood (Pastor Melvin Hargrove): This course challenges men to embrace God’s design for manhood with strength, integrity, leadership, and faith. Through practical teaching and biblical truth, men will explore what it means to lead in the home, serve in the church, walk in discipline, and reflect the character of Christ in everyday life. Participants will be encouraged and equipped to become godly men who lead with conviction, humility, and purpose.
PREACHERS & TEACHERS
Expository Preaching and Teaching (Pastor Dr. Crum): This course equips preachers and teachers with the foundational principles of expository preaching and teaching, focusing on faithfully communicating the meaning of Scripture. Participants will learn how to study the biblical text, understand its context, and develop clear, structured sermons and lessons rooted in the Word of God. Emphasis is placed on moving from accurate interpretation to practical application that transforms lives.
