Customer-Provided Item Engraving Waiver - Ghostly Engraving LLC

This waiver applies to items supplied by the customer and not purchased through Ghostly Engraving LLC. Because we did not manufacture, source, inspect, or control the item’s material, coating, finish, structure, quality, or condition, customer-provided items are accepted at the customer’s risk.
Customer-Provided Item Risk
Engraving is permanent. Results may vary based on the material, coating, finish, and condition of the item. Ghostly Engraving LLC uses reasonable care, but cannot guarantee the outcome on customer-provided items.
Testing & Spare Items
No Replacement or Reimbursement
Because this item is customer-provided, Ghostly Engraving LLC is not responsible for replacing, reimbursing, or sourcing a replacement item if the item is damaged, altered, defective, reacts unexpectedly, or does not engrave as expected. This includes sentimental, expensive, rare, discontinued, custom-made, or difficult-to-replace items. The customer accepts responsibility for the cost and replacement of any customer-supplied item.
If testing is recommended, the customer is responsible for providing and paying for any spare, test, sample, or replacement item. Testing may alter or damage the test item, and Ghostly Engraving LLC is not responsible for replacing or reimbursing customer-provided test items.
Artwork, Spelling & Copyright/Trademark Permission
The customer approves the spelling, artwork, layout, and placement before engraving. The customer must own or have written permission to use any artwork, logo, phrase, saying, slogan, or design provided. Ghostly Engraving LLC may refuse copyrighted, trademarked, protected, or licensed material without legal permission.
Future Use & Functionality
Engraving may affect future use, durability, structure, coating, finish, function, safety, wearability, performance, or manufacturer warranty. Ghostly Engraving LLC does not inspect, certify, or guarantee future safety, performance, structural integrity, wearability, or functionality after engraving. This includes, but is not limited to, automotive parts, valve covers, engine parts, mechanical parts, tools, jewelry, wearable items, coated items, plated items, and any item exposed to heat, pressure, vibration, moisture, or regular use.
