TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
By submitting an application and/or paying your stall fee, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1: Applications:
MakersMade Markets reserves the right to reject booking applications without entering into correspondence or otherwise explain reasoning for decisions. MakersMade Markets look favorably on products that complement our market style, stalls that are well set up/boutique style, and well thought through.
2. Food & Beverage Vendors
Food and drink vendors must hold all required licences and approvals and provide copies upon request. Food licences must be displayed at all times during the event. Alcohol sales are strictly prohibited unless prior written approval has been granted by MakersMade Markets. Approved alcohol vendors must hold a current RSA, and anyone relieving the stallholder must also hold a valid RSA
3. Stall Operation
Vendors must be fully set up by 12:00pm and trade until the official market close of 5:00pm
4. Insurance:
All business stalls must hold Public Liability insurance of $10,000.00 specifying Market Stall. Makers made markets does not offer Public Liability Insurance to any creative stall.
5. Early Pack-Down
Packing up before the official closing time damages the market's atmosphere and creates a safety hazard for visitors. Early pack-down may result in an automatic ban from future markets. All vendors must trade for the full duration of the event. If you sell out of stock, your structure must stay erect until end of the event. Only in the case of an emergency and at the Management discretion are you able to pack up your stall and leave early
6. Payments
Securing Your Spot (Action Required): Once confirmation of approved application, your stall fee must be paid within 72 hours. Failure to pay within this timeframe may result in the site being offered to another vendor on the waitlist. Stall details, site maps, parking information and bump-in times will be provided during the week of the event
What Happens Next? Once your payment is processed, your spot is officially secured. We will send out the final vendor site map, parking instructions, and bump-in times the week of the event. If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to contact management on makersmademarkets@gmail.com
7: Market Day Results:
Individual results vary at any given Market. There are many factors that affect sales on the day and this is the nature of markets. MakersMade markets strives to provide quality event advertising and promotion to ensure the best possible outcome for our stallholders. We welcome constructive feedback however we will not tolerate rude behaviour towards any of our staff, verbally or via written correspondence.
8. Cancellations & Weather
I understand this is an all-weather event. The market will proceed in rain, wind, or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe by local authorities or event management. If the organizers cancel the event due to extreme weather or unforeseen safety hazards, vendors will receive a full credit for the next scheduled market date. Refunds will not be issued for weather-related cancellations. Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event will receive a refund less a $10 administration fee. Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable and non-transferable
9. No-Shows
Vendors who fail to arrive by their allocated bump-in time forfeit their stall and all fees paid. No refunds or credits will be provided
10. Approved Products
Only products listed and approved in your application may be sold. MakersMade Markets reserves the right to request the immediate removal of any unapproved products
11: Responsibility:
Stallholders are responsible for their own stall security and monies. No responsibility is taken by makersmade for theft, loss or damage
12. Stall Space
Stall spaces may not be shared, transferred or sub-let without prior written approval. All displays, stock, signage and equipment must remain within the allocated stall boundaries. Walkways must remain clear at all times
13. Safety & Risk
Marquees must be securely weighted or pegged. All electrical equipment must be current, tested and tagged where required. Vendors must immediately report accidents, injuries, property damage, found items, lost children, anti-social behaviour or any safety concerns to the Market Management
Stallholders agree to set up their stall spaces in a safe and secure manner to ensure the safety of all shoppers. Makersmade Markets shall not be responsible for injury or accidents caused by stallholders negligence to conduct themselves or the stall safely. In the event of an accident, injury or emergency MakersMade Markets has a safety procedure in place to ensure the incident is handled efficiently. Should Stall holders fail to secure their items or marquees safely this will be at the fault of the stall holder and not MakersMade Markets.
14. Waste Management
Vendors are responsible for keeping their site clean and removing all rubbish, boxes and packaging from the venue. Event bins are not provided for commercial waste. Illegal dumping may result in suspension from future events. Vendors are encouraged to use eco-friendly, plastic-free packaging where possible
15. Traffic Management
All vendors must comply with directions given by Market Management or their representatives regarding vehicle access, parking and traffic movement
16. Marketing & Privacy
Vendors grant permission for MakersMade Markets to use submitted photographs, business names and social media accounts for promotional purposes. Vendors are encouraged to promote the event by sharing it on social media. Please add the event to your social media platform and the “you will find me at” post a few days before the event. Share our event on all socials within the 2 weeks leading up to the date. Vendors agree to Management taking photos of the stalls and products to use on their socials and for future promotional material
17. Conduct
Courtesy and professionalism are expected at all times. Bullying, harassment, abusive behaviour, online misconduct or behaviour that damages the reputation of the market will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal and/or exclusion from future events. Any disputes between vendors must be referred to the Market Management
18. Breach of Terms
MakersMade Markets reserves the right to cancel a vendor's participation without refund, remove a vendor from the event, or prohibit future participation where these Terms & Conditions are breached or where conduct is considered inappropriate or unsafe
19. Emergency Assistance
For emergencies relating to medical, structural or behavioural issues, immediately notify the Market Management who will be recognisable wearing Hi-Vis pink vests or contact Michele on 0424 492 885
