    Application Form

    Leadership St. Pete 2027 Planning Committee
  • The LSP Executive Committee selects the members of the Planning Committee (PC) from eligible candidates who have submitted this application.

    PC members serve one-year terms and may not serve more than six (6) consecutive terms. PC members can apply again after sitting out for at least one (1) year. Approximately one-third of PC positions shall be filled by persons who have not previously served on the PC, with priority given to graduates of the most recent class, the goal being that approximately one-third of the PC should be turned over each year. PC will be approximately 30-35 members.

    The deadline to apply for the 2027 PC is Tuesday, June 30 at midnight.

  • Should you be chosen for the PC, it is expected that you will:

    1. Be an active and participatory PC member for the entire program year (beginning August 2026);
    2. Secure sponsorships in support of the program, and specifically, your assigned seminar;
    3. Actively participate on at least one seminar and/or PC sub-committee; and

    3. Orientation Dinner (tentatively scheduled December 9 - evening)
    4. Opening Retreat (Thursday, January 7, 2026 - Saturday, January 9, 2027)

  • If you are unable to commit to the full responsibilities of the Planning Committee, but would still like to be involved in the 2027 program, you may consider becoming a "Friend of LSP " to contribute to the program and stay connected with the class.

  • Are there any seminars you either do NOT want to serve on or are NOT available for?
  • 2027 PC Sub-Committee Preferences

  • The Planning Committee is comprised of five sub-committees. Each PC member is asked to serve on at least one. Descriptions of each committee can be found here.

    1. Assessment Committee
    2. Community Project Committee
    3. LSP Ambassador Committee
    4. Marketing Committee
    5. Sponsorship/Budget Committee

  • Please indicate your interest in serving on each of the PC committees listed (some committees are larger than others).

    While we try to accommodate your preferred choices, you may be assigned to a committee where we have the most need for your participation.

  • We also have an ad-hoc committee that reviews applications and interviews class candidates. Are you interested in participating in the selection process? This would be in addition to your regular sub-committee assignment. Note: We strive to have a diverse selection committee and often cannot include everyone who is interested each year.
  • Have you been on the selection committee before (reading applications and interviewing candidates)?
  •
  • 2027 Friends of LSP

  • We understand the Planning Committee is a big commitment of time and energy and that not everyone can make that commitment. We launched the Friends of LSP in 2022. We are excited to continue offering this opportunity to LSP alumni to participate in the 2027 Class experience in another way. Please answer a few questions for us, and we'll be in touch as we prepare for the next #bestclassever.

  • In what way(s) would you like to support LSP this year? Please select all that apply.
  • We will keep Friends of LSP up to date throughout the year and look forward to inviting Friends to key events for the opportunity to meet and mingle with the class and PC.

    Thank you for continuing to support Leadership St. Pete!
