The Shallow Water Rescue course prepares SLSQ members to prevent incidents and respond quickly in waist‑to‑chest‑deep water during club activities and Nippers. You’ll learn how to assess risk and set safe activity areas, evacuate the water and run a roll call, mark the last known position, and conduct organised searches. There will be an online theory component as well as on the day practical component.
