2026 Long Term Care Centers Excellence Award Program

The Annual Illinois Health Care Association (IHCA) Long Term Care Centers Excellence Award Program recognizes the outstanding work in long term care centers throughout Illinois and gives our members an opportunity to spotlight the great work that is happening in their center.

This award is a prestigious award focused on the quality of care being administered in long term care centers and the various programs and processes that are being implemented to ensure our member centers are continuously working on quality improvement and resident-centered care.

If your Center is committed to providing the best care possible for your residents and can offer qualifiable information on the steps your center has taken to improve care and customer satisfaction, then you should submit a nomination!

Long Term Care Centers Award Details

Each IHCA member center may only submit one nomination form. Make sure make sure the nomination form is filled out completely and accurately before submitting.

The award winner(s) will be announced and recognized during IHCA’s 76th Annual Convention & Expo in East Peoria, IL (you do not have to be present to receive the award).

Each center nominated will receive a certificate recognizing their achievement and a list of nominees will be featured in IHCA's publications, on our social media platforms and website. A press release will also be submitted to the media announcing this year's winner.
