    1-2 trees for planting in City limits
  • Tukwila property owners are eligible for 1-2 free trees to be planted in Tukwila. While we aim to fill every order, availability of your desired tree(s) will be confirmed in September. Orders close September 15th. Pick-up is Saturday October 10th.

    NOTE - please be mindful of limited City resources by only ordering trees that:

    1. Have adequate space to mature in; verify that utilites are not present UNDERGROUND or OVERHEAD; and

    2. Will receive long-term maintenance such as establishment water for 3 years and then 3-6 deep waterings over the summer, etc.

                      Please indicate that you are able to pickup your tree(s). Staff will be present during the giveaway event to help load your trees and answer questions. Trees will be apx. 3' - 7' tall depending on species.
                    • NOTE: Trees not collected on pickup day may be reallocated. In late September, you will receive an order confirmation that includes your two-hour pickup window (10a-12p last name: A-K, 12p-2p last name: L-Z ) at Hazelnut Park Saturday October 10.
