Welcome, brother. We are so glad you will be joining us for Roots of Belonging on Saturday, July 25, 2026 in Harlem, NYC.

This is a sacred healing and leadership retreat created for Black GBTQ men and allies by SONS OF SPIRIT, in partnership with Keeping Ballroom Community Alive Network.

You will find essential details below. Once you are registered, additional information will be provided to you.

Date: Saturday, July 25, 2026

Time: 9am-5pm EST

Location: Private Residence in Harlem, NYC (This gathering will take place in a second-floor walk-up residence and requires climbing stairs.)

Audience: Black men who identify as GBTQ or allies

Meals: Lunch and snacks will be provided

Cost: Choose Your Rate ($95, $195, or $395)

Refund Policy: Full refunds are available up to 14 days before the retreat, minus a $15 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued within 14 days of the event. However, your registration may be transferred to another participant.

This rate is to reduce financial barriers to this space. If paying a higher rate would prevent you from attending, we invite you to choose this option.

We Good Over Here (Standard Rate)

This rate ensures we at least break even. It covers the cost of materials, venue, food, and travel for the facilitator, but does not pay the facilitator.

We Got Blessings on Blessings (Sustainability Rate)

This rate pays our Black trans facilitator, Jamari, ensuring he is properly compensated for his time, energy, and labor. It also supports our Access Rate and makes this space more accessible to our brothers facing financial hardship.
