Organised by Elite Chess Events.
9 rounds of Standard (Classical) chess with a time control of all moves in 90 minutes with a 30 second increment from move 1 (there is no second period), one section open to all players with a FIDE elo of 2000+. Limited capacity for around 80 players.

Rating Category Prize barriers will be decided once the tournament has started.
No player can win more than one prize. If this happens, then the prize of higher monetary value shall be awarded. The woman prizes are additional prizes which can be won on top of any other prize.
Entry fee
GM/WGM/IM/WIM/2400+ FIDE elo = Free entry
FM/WFM/2300-2399 FIDE elo = £100
2000-2299 FIDE elo = £150
*Wildcards Under 2000 FIDE elo = £200 {TBD closer to the time depending on vacancies}
The organisers reserve the right to lower the rating barrier nearer to the time if the entry numbers are lower than expected.

Accommodation
The event does not have any discounted accommodation agreement in place. Players are welcome to stay at any accommodation of their choice.
There are limited conditions available to Grandmasters (GMs) and International Masters (IMs).

Refund Policy
Up to 23rd July: A full refund, less a £10 administration fee,
24th July-17th August: 50% refund
18th August onwards: No refund.
There is an onsite refreshment area.
NB: Please note that outside food/drink is not allowed.
Make sure to enter early to avoid disappointment - entries will be closed when the tournament becomes oversubscribed to keep control of the number of participants. Capacity for 80 players +/-.
