Danceworks Registration Form -2026/2027

  • At Danceworks, we specialize in providing a creative approach to dance instruction in an inclusive and encouraging environment. We provide our students with a strong technical dance background while allowing them to explore their own creative dance expressions. We offer a dance studio environment that allows dancers to create and explore movement in a variety of styles and levels for ages 3 and up.

    Our year begins on the first Monday after Labour Day and continues through to our recitals which take place in June.

  • Will you be registering additional students from the same household? If so, please fill out a separate registration form for each additional dancer.

  • Please select the class(es) and times that work best for your family. If you have any questions about which class would best suit your dancer, please contact us at info@danceworkslethbridge.com or call 403-328-1119 before registering.

    Essentials classes are the first level within an age category. Skills classes are the second level within an age category and require teacher recommendation.

    Our Essentials and Skills levels are tiered to ensure dancers are placed with others of similar age and experience. Placement may be adjusted based on a dancer’s previous training, experience, and the overall level of dancers enrolled in the class. If you are unsure whether your dancer should register in Essentials or Skills, please contact us prior to registration.

    Class schedules are subject to change based on registration numbers. Occasionally, classes may need to be combined or adjusted. Registered families will be consulted before any schedule changes are finalized.

  • Primary Combo Classes: ages 5-6
  • Junior Classes: ages 7-9
  • Intermediate Classes: ages 10-12
  • Senior Classes: ages 13 and up

  • Fees and Payments

  • *No registration fees!

    *No hidden fees! Costs outside of tuition fees will exclusively include a small costume rental fee for each class for the Year End Recital performance, and the purchase of tickets to the show.

    *Fees are a yearly tuition per class and vary based on the length and quantity of classes. We prefer to take payments in 3 instalments throughout the year, in September, December and March. Other payment plans can be arranged upon request.

    *We offer sibling discounts.

  • Annual Tuition

    Class #1 Fees:

    -Tots (ages 3-4) 45-minute class: $280/year +GST

    -All 1-hour classes: $420/year +GST

    -Junior Combo (ages7-9) 90-minute class:  $585/year +GST

     

    Class #2:

    45-minute class: $255/year +GST

    1-hour class $360/year +GST 

     

    Class #3:

    Each additional class: $340/year +GST

     


    *No Payment will be required until we begin classes in September.

    *Payments can be made via debit, credit, cash, cheque, or by sending an e-transfer to dancewrk@shaw.ca

     

     

  • Photo/Media Waiver

    I understand that, during the school year Danceworks occasionally captures photographs and video footage in order to share and encourage our studio’s positive vibe and treasure our students’ talent and passion. Incidentally, we may capture your child’s participation. Here at Danceworks, we are diligent about protecting our student’s privacy and online exposure. Occasionally, we may publish photographs or videos through our website, social media pages, news bulletins, billboards, and ads that may include our dancers. However, we guarantee we will never include enough of a student’s face to be replicated or pirated. With this, we seek your consent to publish photos involving your child on the said platforms.

  • 1. Fees are based on a yearly tuition, divided into 3 equal instalment payments. Missed classes will not be refunded.

    2. Despite the conscientious care from our instructors, dance is an activity where injuries can occur or past injuries can be aggravated. Danceworks will not be held liable for any injuries.

    3. You are not obligated for the entire year, (although we hope you’ll stay and dance in our recital). If you decide not to complete the full year, you must provide Danceworks with written notice of withdrawal. Refunds of pre-paid fees will be given for the month(s) following the date on your notice of withdrawal.

    4. There will be a $30 service charge on any returned cheques.
