  • Welcome to the new school year!
Are you looking for a meaningful way to connect with your child’s school experience, support our wonderful teachers, and get to know other classroom families? Consider becoming a Class Parent!

As a Class Parent, you get a front-row seat to your child's school year. You will act as the vital liaison between your teacher, the PTO, and classroom families. It’s a fun, collaborative, and incredibly rewarding way to build community.

  • What Does a Class Parent Do?

    • Work with guidance from our Volunteer Coordinator: Our Volunteer Coordinator will be in contact with direction throughout the school year. You will act as the liaison between the teacher, the PTO, and classroom families.
    • Grade Level Appreciation: Once a school year at your assigned month (from Volunteer Coordinator), you will help coordinate a teacher appreciation day in the staff room with fellow grade level Class Parents. You'll team up to form a theme and coordinate food/beverage donations from parents for this day. This is one of PTO's efforts throughout the year to make our educators feel loved.
    • The Annual Silent Auction (Spring 2027): This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and Class Parents bring it to life!
      • Classroom Basket: You’ll coordinate one themed basket for your class (valued at around $150). Your creativity is welcome here! This duty includes communicating with the teacher to get an email out to parents asking for monetary or specific item donations to fill and complete this basket.
      • Grade-Level Project: You'll team up with the other class parents in your child's grade to coordinate a unique, collaborative grade-level project. (Don't worry, we will reach out and provide guidance and examples as the time approaches.)
