  • Join us for a fun and educational bird walk through Roy Stewart Morrison Nature Park, a hidden gem in the heart of Courtenay, located near the confluence of Morrison and Arden Creeks—two vital tributaries of the Puntledge River.

    Find out what makes this pocket of urban nature a haven for local birds, led by James Mackenzie, a beloved Comox Valley birdwatching guide and nature photographer.

    Perfect for all ages—bring your curiosity, your binoculars (if you have them), and your love of nature!

  • Meeting Location:

    Meet at the entrance of the park at 2150 Embleton Crescent (map). 
     
    Important Information:

    • Dress for the weather, and bring binoculars and/or a camera if you have them.
    • No dogs please.
    • Please arrive promptly by 8:30 AM or 10:00 AM if you are registed for the second walk.
