• Obedience Training Agreement

    Complete this agreement to enroll your dog in training with Grace & Integrity K9. Please review all terms, fill in your information, and sign below.
  • PURPOSE OF AGREEMENT

    Grace & Integrity K9 agrees to provide dog obedience training instruction to the Client and dog listed below. Training may include obedience, behavior modification, handler education, and related services.The Client understands that results vary depending on consistency, handler participation, environment, and the dog’s temperament, health, and ability.
  • CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Client agrees to: - Attend scheduled training sessions on time. - Practice training exercises between sessions. - Use humane handling methods at all times. - Maintain current vaccinations and veterinary care. - Disclose any history of aggression, biting, or behavioral concerns. - Follow all safety instructions provided by Grace & Integrity K9. - Maintain control of their dog during training sessions and public outings. - Failure to follow training recommendations may negatively impact the dog’s progress.

  • CERTIFICATION & REPRESENTATION

  • Grace & Integrity K9 may certify that a dog has successfully completed training standards established by the organization. Certification is only granted upon successful completion of required training and evaluations. The Client understands that:  Misrepresenting a pet as a service dog may violate state or local laws. - Grace & Integrity K9 reserves the right to refuse certification if standards are not met.

  • NO GUARANTEE

  • Grace & Integrity K9 does not guarantee: - That any dog will pass basic obedience  testing. - Specific training results within a certain timeframe. - Training outcomes depend on many factors, including the Client’s participation and the dog’s health, temperament, and consistency.

  • HOLD HARMLESS & LIABILITY WAIVER

  • The Client understands that working with dogs involves inherent risks, including but not limited to bites, scratches, falls, property damage, emotional stress, or injury to persons or animals. The Client agrees to voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in training sessions, classes, evaluations, public outings, and related activities. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Client agrees to release, waive, hold harmless, indemnify, and defend Grace & Integrity K9, its directors, officers, volunteers, trainers, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses, injuries, or causes of action arising out of or related to: - The behavior or actions of the Client’s dog, - Participation in training activities, - Injuries to persons or animals, - Damage to property, - Use of training equipment, - Public access outings, - Or any actions resulting from training recommendations. This Hold Harmless Agreement applies whether injuries or damages occur on or off training premises. The Client remains fully responsible for their dog at all times.
  • TERMINATION OF SERVICES

  • Grace & Integrity K9 reserves the right to terminate training services if: - The dog presents a safety risk, - The Client fails to follow policies, - Payments are not made, - Or the training environment becomes unsafe or inappropriate.
  • PHOTO & MEDIA RELEASE

  • The Client grants permission for Grace & Integrity K9 to use photographs, videos, or testimonials of the Client and/or dog for educational, promotional, fundraising, or social media purposes without compensation.

  • The Client agrees to pay all fees as agreed. Fees paid are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing by Grace & Integrity K9.
  • ENTIRE AGREEMENT

  • This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes any prior verbal or written agreements. Any modifications must be made in writing and signed by both parties.

  • By signing below, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to all terms contained in this Agreement.
