Recreation Coach End-of-Season Review
  • Recreation Coach End-of-Season Review

Thank you for coaching this season. We truly appreciate the time, energy, and care you gave to your team.

This form helps us with two important things. First, we want your feedback on the coaching experience so we can continue improving the rec program and better support our volunteer coaches. Second, we are asking for brief player ratings to help us make thoughtful team placements in future seasons.

Your input helps us create a better experience for coaches, players, and families.

  • How many seasons have you coached soccer at any level?*
  • Which division(s) did you coach this season?*
  • Coach Feedback

Your feedback is extremely important. It helps us understand what is working, what needs to improve, and how we can better support our coaches and players in future seasons. Please be honest and thoughtful in your responses.

  • How would you describe your overall experience coaching this season?*
  • Which parts of the rec experience felt strongest for your team this season?*
  • Which parts of the rec experience were hardest to create or maintain?*
  • How supported did you feel by the rec program/club this season?*
  • Would you be interested in coaching again next season?*
  • Player Ratings

Because rec soccer does not have tryouts, coach feedback is one of the best ways we can understand players’ overall level and create more balanced teams in future seasons.

Please rate each player based on their overall impact in rec games, not just technical soccer skill. A player’s rating may reflect soccer ability, athleticism, confidence, competitiveness, effort, understanding of the game, and how much they affected games overall.

These ratings are used only for future roster planning. They are not shared publicly and are not meant to label or judge players harshly.

  • Only ONE coach per team needs to submit player ratings. Please talk with your partner coach (if applicable) to decide who will be submitting ratings.*
  • Player Rating Scale

    Rating

    Description What This Means
5 Game Changer / Very Strong Player Clearly stood out in most games. Often one of the best players on the field. May have controlled the game, scored often, stopped many attacks, or physically dominated.
4 Strong Player Above average for the division. Made a clear positive impact and helped the team consistently.
3 Solid Rec Player Fit well in the division. Contributed, followed basic instructions, and had moments of success.
2 Developing Player Still learning the game. May have struggled with positioning, ball control, confidence, speed of play, or staying involved.
1 Beginner / Needs Significant Support Very new, unsure, or had a hard time keeping up with the pace of play. May need extra support in future seasons.
