Purpose
Thank you for your interest in the Unity Under the Hood Micro-Grant Brand Pitch Competition! This competition is designed to support aspiring entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses by providing a platform to showcase their vision, gain valuable exposure, and compete for funding to help grow their brand. We look forward to learning about your business and celebrating the impact you're creating in your community.

Application & Finalist Selection

All applications will be carefully reviewed by the Unity Under the Hood selection committee. Finalists will be announced in October 2026 and invited to advance to the live Brand Pitch Competition on Friday, November 13, 2026, during the first day of the 4th Annual Unity Under the Hood Experience in Miami, Florida. Selected finalists will receive additional competition details, presentation guidelines, and event instructions prior to the competition.

Participation Requirements
To participate, applicants must:

Complete and submit the official application.
Be available to pitch live on Friday, November 13, 2026
Present a 3–5 minute business pitch.
Explain how the $500 Micro-Grant will be used to support your business, community project or related idea.
Agree to abide by the competition guidelines and understand that all judges' decisions are final.

Participation Acknowledgement

By submitting this application, I confirm that I am available to participate in the live Brand Pitch Competition on Friday, November 13, 2026, in Miami, Florida. I understand that, if selected, I will have approximately 3–5 minutes to present my business or related brand pitch before the judging panel. I acknowledge that all judges' decisions are final and not subject to appeal. I also grant permission to photograph, video record, and use images or recordings of my participation for promotional, marketing, and media purposes.
