Rock Creek Lake Trail at Crazy Mountain Ranch is a breathtaking alpine hike that winds through wildflower-filled meadows, evergreen forest, and alongside crystal-clear mountain streams before reaching the stunning turquoise waters of Rock Creek Lake. Surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the Crazy Mountains, this trail feels remote, peaceful, and incredibly scenic from start to finish. You will gain 1,200 - 1,600 feet of elevation on this hike and dogs are welcome! Note: If you would like to spend the evening at CMR following the hike, there will be a $500 fee for lodging.
