Rock Lake at Crazy Mountain Ranch is a breathtaking alpine hike that winds through wildflower-filled meadows, evergreen forest, and alongside crystal-clear mountain streams before reaching the stunning turquoise waters of Rock Lake. Surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the Crazy Mountains, this trail feels remote, peaceful, and incredibly scenic from start to finish. You can choose between an 8-mile or 16-mile hike to the lake. If you would like to spend the night at CMR following the hike, there will be a $500 fee for lodging. Dogs are welcome on both the hike and overnight stays!
