  • Native Action Network (NAN) is proud to host a series of Native-led cultural celebrations during the 2026 World Cup in Seattle highlighting Indigenous culture.
  • Native Food Vendors will feature Indigenous chefs, caterers, food trucks, and traditional food experts, giving attendees a chance to experience authentic Native cuisine and support Native-owned businesses.
  • Due to venue rules are required to carry and maintain the following minimum insurance coverage before and during any work performed at the park. Certificates of insurance (COIs) must name both parties listed below in the agreement as additional insureds.

  • Parties

    This Vendor Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Native Action Network(NAN) and the undersigned Vendor 

     

  • Scope of Participation

    Vendor agrees to provide food services during Native Action Network’s World CupCelebration programming at designated locations and dates communicated upon acceptance.

    Vendor Responsibilities

    Vendor agrees to:

    • Provide food consistent with application description
    • Operate within the assigned booth footprint
    • Comply with all local and county health regulations
    • Follow all event guidelines and vendor load-in/load-out schedules
    • Maintain required licenses and permits
    • Provide proof of insurance by naming Friends or Waterfront Park, City and Seattle and Native Action Network as additionally insured

    Fees & Payments

    • Vendor fees $500
    • Vendors retain 100% of food sales
    • Fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by NAN
  • Setup & Operations

    • The event will be in two locations:o July 2nd NAN Office Belltown- Set up will be with your own tents tables andchairso July 3rd Pier 58- vendor is responsible for table and chairso July 3rd Pier 62- Food trucks only
    • Vendors must adhere to assigned setup and breakdown times
    • Vendors may not exceed assigned space
    • No unauthorized generators, open flames, or equipment
    • Due to the anticipated increase in international visitors and traffic associated withunloading, NAN is not responsible for any challenges related to traffic. Allparticipants should be aware that traffic delays and limited parking may occur.
    • Due to City of Seattle regulations requiring license and venue requirements for certificate of insurance vendors may not split or share their table with other businesses, organizations, or individuals unless they have received prior written approval from NAN
  • Liability & Indemnification

  • Vendor assumes all liability related to food preparation, service, and sales. Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Native Action Network, its staff, board, volunteers, partners, and venues.

  • Cancellation

    • Vendor cancellations must be submitted in writing
    • Failure to appear may result in exclusion from future NAN events
  • Event Changes

  • Vendor acknowledges that event dates, times, or locations may change due to World Cup conditions, permits, or city requirements.
  • Agreement Acceptance

  • This Agreement becomes effective upon vendor acceptance and signature.

  • Important to Note: Submission of this application does not guarantee acceptance. Vendors will be selected to ensure a diverse and balanced Indigenous marketplace.

  • City of Seattle Permit & Compliance

  • City of Seattle Special Events Compliance

  • Vendor acknowledges that this event operates under permits issued or coordinated with the City of Seattle and its departments. Vendor agrees to comply with all applicable municipal, county, and state regulations governing food service, public safety, and event operations.
  • Health & Food Safety Requirements

  • Vendor must comply with all applicable requirements of Public Health - Seattle & King County, including but not limited to:
    • Valid Temporary Food Establishment Permit or Mobile Food Permit
    • Approved food handling and preparation practices
    • On-site food safety compliance during inspections
    • Handwashing, temperature control, and sanitation requirements
  • Vendor must provide copies of required permits upon request and prior to event load-in. Failure to comply with health regulations may result in immediate closure by health officials and removal from the event without refund.

  • Fire & Life Safety Compliance

  • Vendor agrees to comply with all requirements of the Seattle Fire Department, including but not limited to:
    • Proper use and securing of propane tanks
    • No open flames without explicit approval
    • Fire extinguisher requirements for cooking operations
    • Generator placement, ventilation, and fuel storage compliance
  • The Seattle Fire Department reserves the right to inspect vendor setups at any time during the event.
  • Right-of-Way & Site Operations

  • Vendor agrees to:
    • Remain within assigned footprint
    • Maintain clear emergency access routes
    • Follow load-in and load-out schedules
    • Not obstruct pedestrian pathways or ADA access
  • Permits & Approvals Disclaimer

  • Native Action Network will coordinate overall event-level permits when applicable;
    however:
    • Vendors are solely responsible for individual food permits, licenses, and approvals
    • Vendor participation is contingent upon permit compliance
    • Submission of an application does not guarantee permit approval
  • Vendor understands that permit requirements may change based on City, World Cup, or
    public safety conditions.
  • Inspections & Enforcement

  • Vendor acknowledges that:
    • City, County, or State officials may conduct inspections at any time
    • Non-compliance may result in immediate shutdown
    • NAN is not responsible for enforcement actions taken by authorities
  • Force Majeure & City-Directed Changes

  • Vendor understands that due to the scale and security requirements of the World Cup,
    event details may change based on directives from the City of Seattle, FIFA-related
    protocols, or public safety agencies.
  • Such changes do not constitute breach of contract by Native Action Network.

  • Before Event:
    • Valid Washington State business license
    • Business name matches application
  • Required Coverage:
    1. Commercial General Liability

    • $1,000,000 per occurrence
    • $2,000,000 aggregate
    • Must be Primary and Non-Contributory

    2. Commercial Automobile Liability (if vehicles will be used)

    • $1,000,000 combined single limit per accident
    • Covers owned, hired, and non-owned vehicles
