    Thank you for your interest in participating in the Bremen Oktoberfest Pageant! Please read the information below carefully and complete the registration form in its entirety.

    PAGEANT INFORMATION

    Date: Friday, September 25, 2026

    Time: 6:00 PM

    Check-In: 5:45 PM

    Location: Bremen Community Methodist Church

    Address: 205 N. Mulberry St., Bremen, OH 43107

    Location Note: White church located at the corner of N. Mulberry St. and Walnut St.

    During the pageant, contestants will receive a brief overview of the evening at the beginning. Each age division will be welcomed on stage by age group.

    Every contestant will be introduced individually to the judges and will have an opportunity to wave to the audience and answer a few simple, age-appropriate microphone questions, such as their favorite color, activity, or hobby. This gives the judges an opportunity to see a glimpse of each contestant's personality and get to know them a little better.

    RECOMMENDED ATTIRE

    • Girls: Dress, pageant gown, or evening gown

    • Boys: Dress clothes or formal attire

    A Note About Our Pageant: The Bremen Oktoberfest Pageant is a small-town community pageant, not a glitz pageant. Our goal is to encourage each contestant to feel confident, beautiful, and proud to be part of our community. There is absolutely no need to go all out or spend a lot of money on hair, makeup, dresses, or other pageant extras. We want contestants to come as themselves, feel special, have fun, and enjoy the experience!

    Family and friends are welcome and encouraged to attend!

    BREMEN OKTOBERFEST GRAND PARADE — REQUIRED

    All contestants are required to participate in the Bremen Oktoberfest Grand Parade on:

    Saturday, September 26, 2026

    • Parade lineup: 10:00–10:40 AM

    • Location: Bremen Elementary School parking lot near the playground

    • Parade begins: Promptly at 11:00 AM

    Contestants should ride in their own decorated vehicle or float. Make sure they are safe and secure while riding. Recommended placing signs on each side of vehicle stating for example ( Little Mr Bremen John Doe Contestant #4) Parade Route ends at the Oktoberfest. 

    CORONATION

    The announcement and crowning of the 2026 Bremen Oktoberfest Royal Court will take place on the Oktoberfest stage following the Grand Parade. Anticipated time 12:00pm. 

    Please go directly to the Oktoberfest stage following the parade for the coronation. 

    ENTRY FEE

    A $25 non-refundable entry fee is required for each contestant. Registration is considered complete only after both the completed entry form and payment have been received.

    Payment should be completed through the Bremen Village Office.

    TITLEHOLDER EXPECTATIONS & FUNDRAISING

    Winners are expected to:

    • Participate in the following year's Bremen Oktoberfest Grand Parade.

    • Represent the Bremen Oktoberfest Pageant and the Bremen community with positivity, enthusiasm, and good sportsmanship.

    • Participate in the two group fundraising opportunities planned throughout their reign.

    Our goal is to make these opportunities fun and give the titleholders a chance to come together, participate as a group, and help raise funds to support the following year's Royal Court, the Bremen Oktoberfest Pageant, and the Oktoberfest celebration itself.

     

    • Bremen Community Yard Sale: We anticipate participating in the Bremen Community Yard Sales. We anticipate that being on or around June 19, 2027, with a group bake sale fundraiser.

    • Candy Bar Fundraiser: We anticipate holding a candy bar fundraiser in August 2027 to help raise funds and bring awareness to the following year's Bremen Oktoberfest.

     

    ATTENDANCE POLICY

    Failure to attend the pageant event may result in withdrawal from the competition without a refund.

    No refunds will be issued after payment has been received.

    ELIGIBILITY

    Contestants must have a connection to the Bremen community. Eligibility includes, but is not limited to:

    • Residing in Fairfield County

    • Being a current or former Bremen Elementary student

    • Having a parent, grandparent, or other family member who lives, has lived, works, attended school, or has worked in Bremen.

    I authorize the festival to use photos of my child/contestant in the newspaper, for advertising, and website publications. (If you do not agree, your child cannot compete - your child will be a public figure and participating in many activities and it is impossible to police them having their photo taken at public events. I release the Bremen Oktoberfest and any affiliates from all legal responsibilities should my daughter/son be hurt or injured while participating in any event involved with the parade or Festival.
