Our selection committees are a great way to become more involved in the AUArts community and flex your critical thinking skills! By participating in one of our selection committees, you will gain professional development experience, meet new peers and add a line to your CV!

Committee Member Requirements

• Must be current student
• Must be in good standing as an AUArts SA member, i.e. have paid your tuition/fees.
• Must be available 2-3 hours prior to meeting as a committee to review, gain an understanding of the submissions on your own time, and make notes on the submissions.
• Must be available 2-3 hours for the in-person selection committee meeting
  (this will take place on August 10, 2026 from 1-4pm in person on the AUArts Campus)
  
  

Note: Students applying for an exhibition this semester are not eligible to serve on this selection committee.

About the Selection Committee

What can you expect as a committee member?

You can expect to review around 15 - 20 submissions, to dicuss these applications with your fellow committee members and the MNG Coordinator, and select the strongest applications for the upcoming semester.

When committees meet in person, snacks are provided.
