Participant Liability Waiver & Release Agreement
By participating in Guided Wellness Hikes hosted by Tracie, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
I understand that hiking and outdoor wellness activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to uneven terrain, weather conditions, slips, falls, wildlife, physical exertion, dehydration, and other unforeseen hazards.
I confirm that I am voluntarily participating in this activity and am physically capable of safely engaging in hiking and related wellness activities.
I understand it is my responsibility to:
Wear appropriate footwear and clothing
Stay hydrated
Apply sun protection
Monitor my own physical condition throughout the event
I acknowledge that Guided Wellness Hikes and its Host are not medical providers and do not provide medical advice, treatment, or emergency services.
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and release, waive, and discharge Guided Wellness Hikes, Tracie, event volunteers, assistants, affiliates, and property owners from any and all liability, claims, demands, injuries, damages, losses, or causes of action arising from participation in this event.
In the event of an emergency, I authorize emergency medical care if deemed necessary and understand that I am solely responsible for any resulting medical expenses.
I agree to behave respectfully toward all participants, nature, and public spaces throughout the experience.
I understand that failure to follow safety instructions or respectful conduct expectations may result in removal from the event without refund.
I acknowledge that photos or videos may be taken during events for promotional or community purposes. I understand I may request not to be photographed prior to the event.
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to this waiver and release of liability.
