This summer, Creative UK is looking to launch a brand-new advocacy toolkit for the cultural and creative industries.
Launched ahead of Party Conference season, and coming one year on from the publication of the Sector Plan, The Case for the Creative Industries will outline clear priorities for the sector for any political party to consider in its policymaking – and will underpin Creative UK’s advocacy work for the coming year.
The cross-sector toolkit - a progression from our Manifesto - will contain up-to-date:
- Asks: What our network wants respective parties to understand and prioritise in their policy making;
- Data: Why the creative industries matter and why they should be taken seriously
- Success Stories: Reflections on what has worked so far.
It will not focus on specific subsectors, but will explore the wider ecosystem of the cultural and creative industries.
As we build this toolkit, we want to hear what matters to you - and how Creative UK can be the best champion for your organisation this year. We’re grateful for if you can complete this short form with more detail about your priorities.
