Get ready for a fun-filled back-to-school event that brings students, families, and the community together! The Downtown School Supply Stroll invites students to explore downtown Ypsilanti while collecting free school supplies.
We are excited to announce that planning is underway for our 3rd Annual Downtown School Supply Stroll, and we would love for you to be part of it!

This community event brings families downtown for an afternoon of fun while helping students collect the school supplies they need for the upcoming school year. Participating businesses will host a table outside their storefront and distribute an assigned school supply item to students as they stroll through downtown.

Every year the events gets bigger and better! We are expecting over 400 people this year!!
Ways to participate:

Downtown Business$20.00
Participating businesses will be assigned and given a specific school supply item to hand out and are asked to set up a table outside of their storefront during the event. We are expecting a large turnout, so businesses are encouraged to add extra supplies if they would like to help support even more students. Your $20 registration fee helps cover balloons for event visibility and additional school supplies for students in our community.

Table Sponsors are encouraged to decorate their space, engage with attendees, and may also hand out school supplies, promotional items, giveaways, or business information. NO SELLING IS ALLOWED. Your $100 sponsorship includes one table, two chairs and your assigned supply during the event

Donations help provide additional school supplies, event materials, and resources to ensure local students are prepared for the upcoming school year. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference and helps us continue growing this community event year after year. Monetary donations can be given in any amount.

VolunteerFree
Volunteers assist with setup, check-in, guiding attendees, distributing supplies, cleanup, and more. This is a great opportunity to support local students and families while being part of a fun and impactful community event. Whether you can help for a few hours or the entire event, we would love to have you join us.
