Waiver of Liability and Informed Consent
Participation in K9 Nose Work classes, practices, workshops, or events involves some inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to, injury to people or dogs, property damage, uneven or unstable footing, environmental hazards, and the unpredictable behavior of dogs.
I understand that I am responsible for myself, my dog, and any guest or animal under my care or control while attending this event. I agree to follow all event rules and instructions and to keep my dog safely managed at all times.
I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in or attending this event with knowledge of these risks. To the fullest extent allowed by law, I release and hold harmless Tamre Huber, Sunriver K9 Genie, and their employees, assistants, volunteers, contractors, agents, and representatives from claims for injury, loss, or property damage arising out of my participation in or attendance at the event, except where caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
I further agree to be responsible for any injury, damage, claim, cost, or expense caused by me, my dog, or any person or animal under my care or control.
