    Request for Submissions

Mainframe Studios is proud to present EXPERIMENTAL & INNOVATIVE.

Mainframe Studios is proud to present EXPERIMENTAL & INNOVATIVE, a celebration of artists who push beyond convention through curiosity, risk-taking, and new ways of making.

Featuring work across disciplines and mediums, this exhibition highlights practices shaped by unexpected materials, evolving technologies, unconventional processes, bold conceptual thinking, and fresh perspectives.

Rooted in discovery and creative risk-taking, EXPERIMENTAL & INNOVATIVE invites viewers to engage with artwork that values process as much as outcome. Whether subtle or ambitious, each piece reflects a spirit of experimentation and a willingness to reimagine what art can become.

The exhibition creates space for artists to rethink familiar ideas and imagine new possibilities for contemporary art and creative expression.

Submissions are welcome from a wide range of disciplines maintaining a reasonable connection to the theme.

All submissions are due by Sunday, June 30th at 11:59 PM (CST), and late submissions will not be accepted. Artists will be notified tentatively by July 17, 2026. There is no entry fee to apply.

Accepted Works will be on display in multiple public gallery spaces at Mainframe Studios during the month of August 2026, with a special reception held during First Friday, August 7th , 2026 5-8pm. All participating artists are encouraged to attend.
