  • Capacity Building & Sustainability:

    The Small Grants Program aligns with the mission of the Tennessee Disability Coalition to promote the full and equal participation of individuals with disabilities in all aspects of life. To support this mission, this program funds projects that strengthen the capacity of the disability community and help build a society that includes and values people with disabilities.

    The purpose of the Small Grants Program is to increase the ability of organizations and communities to better serve individuals with disabilities and their families.

    Examples may include, but are not limited to:

    • building partnerships,
    • training staff or volunteers,
    • creating reusable resources,
    • increasing accessibility,
    • growing leadership,
    • expanding programs, or
    • improving long-term community support.
